We exist for the people who put more into their business than anyone sees: the care, the details, the extra effort. Our work brings that dedication into view, connecting remarkable places and brands with the people who will value them most.

Founded by award-winning photographer, storyteller, and author Jon Kreye, the studio grew from a photography hobby into a global creative business.

 

Over the past nine years, Jon has photographed vacation rentals and hospitality experiences for brands including Vrbo, Expedia, Hotels.com, Travel + Leisure, and Four Seasons. He is also the author of two published coffee table books highlighting some of the Midwest’s most unique stays.

Jon’s approach goes beyond documenting what a space looks like. His photography captures the feeling of being there: a quiet morning at a cabin, the warmth of a thoughtfully designed room, or the anticipation of exploring somewhere new. Moody tones, intentional composition, and attention to the human experience give his work a distinctive, immersive quality.

That creative approach is paired with an understanding of how people discover destinations and brands today. Having built an engaged social media community around travel and unique stays, Jon creates photography and short-form video with both the story and its audience in mind. Each project considers how the content will work across websites, social media, digital advertising, and editorial features.

Photography remains at the heart of the studio, with offerings that extend into editorial storytelling, video, creative strategy, creator retreats, speaking and creative education, and book publishing. Through these experiences, we help businesses share what they’ve built and give creatives opportunities to learn, connect, and develop their own work.

Jon’s love for this work began long before it became a business. Growing up in Minnesota and Wisconsin, family trips to up-north cabins and adventures in the Boy Scouts sparked a lasting appreciation for the outdoors and the places that bring people together. Those early experiences still shape the stories he seeks out and the feeling he strives to capture.
